The Master of Plans (ISBN 097716411X) is a love story. The first in a series of novels that Carol plans to write. Having consulted for the past ten years, and now retired, Carol lives in Tavares, Florida, where she writes from her home, surrounded by the tranquility of orange groves.
Having gone the print on demand route, Carol has started her own publishing company d/b/a Defiance in Print to promote her own books. The Master of Plans placed second in the published fiction romance category of the 2004 Royal Palm Literary Book Awards sponsored by the Florida Writers Association on November 8, 2004.
Carol is a current member of the Florida Writers Association and the New York Center for Independent Publishing.
She is a past member of the Women's Executive Council of Orlando, National Female Executives, State of Florida Licensed Interior Designers and Notary Public State of Florida.
Carol owned and operated a successful, full-service interior design business for eighteen years. Having left her imprint on Fortune 500 companies, as well as hundreds of commercial and residential projects, regionally and nationally, she is now planning to follow her second passion.
Commercial design credits include Pitney Bowes R & D Building, Stamford, Connecticut, Dictaphone World Headquarters, Shelton, Connecticut, Pokon Chrysal USA Headquarters, Miami, Florida, the Whitney Building, Holyoke, Massachusetts, Shore Pointe Building, Norwalk, Connecticut, the 850 and 901 Buildings in Maitland, Florida, to name a few. Carol has been featured in the Florida Designer's Quarterly, On Design, Home Magazine, South Florida Business Journal, the Orlando Business Journal, Lake and Sumter Style and the Lake Magazines. She graduated from Katharine Gibbs in New York City and attended Brookdale Community College in New Jersey.
The Master of Plans Part II (ISBN 0977164101) continues the adventures of Carrie Moretti Malone. Carol is working on a third novel and a children's Can You Guess series.
